Project Description

Title: Lines of Becoming

Medium: Acrylic on canvas

Lines of Becoming distills the human form into gesture and rhythm. A faceless figure emerges from an intricate web of black ink lines, each one flowing like grain in wood or water in motion. The body feels both anchored and dissolving, as if caught mid-transformation—more essence than identity. With no facial features, the figure invites projection: a mirror for emotion, memory, or longing. Minimal yet rich in movement, this piece explores how we carry shape without needing to hold form. It’s a study in presence, vulnerability, and the quiet power of being seen without needing to explain.
